    Pack the order and arrange postage through your usual service. Ratehaul calculates checkout rates; it does not buy postage, print labels or book a collection.

  1. Install and add your key

    Upload the plugin, then paste your free Australia Post PAC API key and your origin postcode into the shipping settings.

  2. Set a box and product weights

    Enter a default box size and make sure each product has a weight. Pro lets you add several box presets and a prepaid satchel table.

  3. Customers see live rates

    At cart and checkout the plugin asks Australia Post for the price to that postcode and shows it. If no live quote is available, a fallback flat rate can appear when you configure an amount above $0. Zero disables fallback.

The practical details.

Do I need an Australia Post account?

You need a free PAC (Postage Assessment Calculator) API key from Australia Post. It takes a few minutes to request and there is no charge. You do not need a MyPost Business or contract account. See how to get a PAC API key.

Which rates does the plugin quote?

Lite quotes Australia Post's retail Parcel Post and Express Post prices for domestic parcels. Pro adds international services and a prepaid satchel pricing table that you fill in with the satchel prices you actually pay.

What happens if Australia Post's API is down?

Both Lite and Pro can offer a fallback flat rate when no live quote is available. Set a fallback amount above $0 to enable it; zero means no fallback shipping option. Both also cache rates for six hours, so repeat quotes for the same parcel and destination do not hit the API every time.

Does it work with the block checkout?

Yes. Lite and Pro both work with the classic shortcode checkout and the WooCommerce block cart and checkout.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time payment. You get 12 months of updates: when a new version is out we upload it to Payhip, and you download it from your purchase and install it over the old one (the plugin does not update itself). Updates and support end after 12 months. You can keep using the version you have without buying anything else, as long as your licence key stays valid and our licence check can confirm it. There is no automatic renewal.

What is your refund policy?

No change-of-mind refunds on a digital download. If Pro does not work on your site, you tell us within 14 days of purchase and we cannot get it working, we refund you. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless. See refunds.
